Random schematic stuff

Don't worry - 99% of the few people reading Worth-it won't understand this post: Orcad forums has a post describing schematic symbol creation. Coolly enough, there is also a "community faq" with additional details. And of course, there is a Xilinx answer record 10078.

For small projects, there are other schematic tools available, some even free.

Faster than a speeding CPU

It seems that it would be worth considering a GPU over using a CPU for my secret project to take over the world. Forums are abuzz about GPU's like the 8800 GTX, GF8800, R600, G80, and GX2. DX10 is the latest thing. Or a stream processor.

Microcontroller/USB stuffff

Note: highly technical reference bookmarks
This site seems worth keeping a link too for hardware guys like me. Same goes for the open source USB stack wiki. There's also a discussion group summary page (links to several discussion groups, as far as I can tell).
